Teddy King in the break-away
Asheville transplant Teddy King from Bissell Pro Cycling in the break-away on Stage 4 of the Tour of California. What crappy weather! Ted has been a participant on our Saturday Bakery Ride this winter.
Answer to your question: the break dwindled from 11 to 6. I was glad to make it that far, but had no snap whatsoever. So when the attack went, I tried (feebley) to catch the attack, but had nothing to show for it. About 10 minutes later, CSC blazed by me at mach speeds chasing down the lead in hopes of setting up JJ. I had NOTHING in the tank after 6 hours/125 miles/rain rain rain and just soft pedaled to the finish.
I am originally from Ohio. I have relocated several times along the way. I intend to stay in western NC for as long as possible. I love working and playing in the mountains.

Great picture of me in the break.
